TYPE OF INCIDENT: Commercial Burglary

INCIDENT LOCATION: Coconut Creek, FL
Investigators with the Coconut Creek police department are investigating a coin shop burglary that occurred in the early morning hours of December 12, 2025. The suspects gained entry into the business by cutting a hole from a vacant adjacent business. Once the suspects located the safe they torched a 14×16 inch rectangular hole to gain access. All conduit electrical lines in walls were cut. Alarms were disabled.
Stolen Inventory
- 1 – sealed GSA 1883 CC no box no papers but very high grade proof like but not graded.
- 25 to 30 lbs of Canada silver coins 800 and 925. Dimes, quarters, halfs, dollars.
- Extensive amount of Silver Foreign coins 25 to 30 lbs over 45 different countries. All separated by country.
- 2 – 1893 Columbian exposition 50 cent halves 1 rainbow toned green and red uncirculated. The other blast white high grade with 10 more assorted high grade commems.
- World coin white Capitol plastics. 5 coin set 1oz eagle maple Krugerrand, Britannica, Libertad.
- Rare 5 oz Hong Kong with coin embedded in silver bar.
- 4 rolls ASE 2011 80oz.
- Lot ot of assorted rounds appox. 40, total
- 90 percent mixed 250 in face . 4 Whitman blue books barber halves, dimes & quarters. Canada dimes, 40 PCGS and NGC graded holders mostly eagles.
