INCIDENT LOCATION: WV
The Numismatic Crime Information Center is assisting the Martinsburg, WV police department in a theft that occurred at a coin shop located in their city. The suspect requested to see gold coins and when the employee opened the showcase, he reached inside, grabbed a one-ounce gold coin and ran out the front door.
The owner advised that the suspect is the same one that is responsible for thefts from coin shops in previous alerts sent out by NCIC in recent weeks. The suspect has committed thefts in PA, MD, NJ, VA. Watch video of suspect below.
