Distraction Theft

On May 14, 2020 two  males entered Twin Cities Gold & Silver Exchange in St. Louis Park, MN. The male subjects stated they wanted to buy a large amount of gold and flashed a large roll of cash.

The male subjects picked out several pieces of gold and requested they be wrapped in tissue and placed in a box. The male subjects then requested to look at silver coins.

The subjects wanted to purchase more gold than they had in cash and requested the victim to hold the gold for them while they went to the bank to get the additional cash. The subjects left a $500 deposit before leaving the store.
